Our Board consists of community members giving of their time and energy to create a well run program. They all help by attending regular meetings, fundraising, obtaining sponsorships, maintaining the grounds, and running the shows. Please view the bios below to meet our amazing board members!
Laurie Magoon
President
My name is Laurie Magoon. I was born and raised in Sand Lake. I’ve been a part of the Red Flannel Saddle Club since I was a kid and now my daughter shows there. I am also very involved in 4H, rodeos, Sand Lake Festivities and Club Scouts with my son. I love my RFSC family!
Taylor Gervais
First Vice President
My name is Taylor Gervais. I have been riding horses for 15 years and have shown at Red Flannel for the past 12 years in all disciplines. I am also a 4H leader in Kent County, MIHA coach, and an avid supporter of K9 Camo Companions. I love supporting nonprofit organizations and am always up for a challenge!

Kami Dewitt
2nd Vice President
Hi, my name is Kami DeWitt. I grew up on Drummond Island and was fortunate enough to have horses my entire life. During my college years I had the best summer job working at the riding stables on Mackinac Island. My husband of 31 years tolerates my addiction and loves taking care of the horses. All five of my boys have had the pleasure to show at Red Flannel Saddle Club as they were growing up. I look forward to my grandchildren having the same experience.

Liz Letter
Secretary
Hi, I'm Elizabeth Letter and I live near Newaygo. I've been married to my sweetheart for 25 years and home educate my two children. I was that horse-crazy kid who never grew out of it. My non-horsey parents nonetheless supported me by buying me my first horse at age 15. I love showing at Red Flannel because we have great members. I teach riding lessons and I love getting new people started in horses and showing. I have served as Secretary for RFSC since 2018.

My father passed on a long tradition of loving horses to me. Born and raised in California, I watched my dad work the West Coast Race Track circuit for over 30 years. 22 years ago my Prince moved us to the family farm and supports my desire to get good at horses. I am grateful for Red Flannel Saddle Club and I am excited to serve on this board.
